Inserting images into a text area on an iPhone
Issue: In a text area, you go to insert a photo using your iPhone. You click on the insert image icon, select the image from your phone, and then nothing happens. This issue is specific to iPhones. Android devices and Mac and PC laptops are able to insert images.
The workaround for this issue is the following:
- Take the picture on your iPhone.
- Open the Photos app.
- Select the photo you want to insert.
- Beneath the list of apps to share the photo with, select the option to Copy Photo.
- Go into the Labflow report, and then paste the photo into the text area (long press in the text area and choose the option to Paste).
This should get the images from the iPhone into the text area without having to send them to your computer.
Find out if you are using the latest version of the software.
When you log into Labflow, you will usually get the latest version of the software. However, there may be some instances where your browser does not load the latest version.
How to determine the version of the software
- Open your Profile menu in the bottom left of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the profile to the Application version section
- If your browser is using an older version, a RELOAD button will be visible
- Click the the RELOAD button if available
- Click the Courses icon to return to Labflow or the Home icon to return to your course
